Factors Why Childhood Education Programs Fail Our Child
There are plenty of learning centres in Singapore for preschool education and early childhood education, and they are typically well run and have good classes. However parents and their children sometimes do fail to get the most of the preschool education leading to bitterness over the fees and time put in. The factors are complex and intertwined.
Firstly children's needs are as diverse as fingerprints. While one child needs to sit quietly to digest any lesson, another needs to play. While one child can understand by picking steadily through things at his fingertips, another needs to emotionally confirm and seek approval from his mother or father. It is important that you preview your child through the various courses to find out what fits him or her, rather than what all other parents say.
Secondly, there is only so much information a kid can soak up if the course is too academic or tense, or if he or she is faced by too much tough demand on his or her attention. Even play can become taxing if the expectancy of results is always in the air, or if the program is too test-oriented or too unsubtle. Young children are not prepared to deal with that and are more likely to switch off or develop an undesirable feeling of learning.
Thirdly, many programs lead with marginalization of parents. There is no replacement for parents in the lives of our children, and the early years are no exception. Preschool education and early childhood development that assume themselves to be the end-all of learning skills do parents no favour but children potential harm.
Fourthly, preschool classes that are too limited in course length or too specific cause crucial neural patterns and connections to be washed out too quickly. While providing an opening boost, a lot of programs if joined just sporadically or once or twice do not lead to long-term transformation unless parents sustain and build on these results.
My Little Genius - An Ideal Child Enhancement Or Child Development Programme It is the quality that makes a child shine - confidence. It can account for his or her determination to do well eventually in school. On the other hand, if your child has declining self-esteem, education can be a dreadful process.
